Topic: Body Image- source identification
The source I used for this blog was labeled [Europe's Journal of Psychology. 2014, Vol. 10 Issue 2, p301-317. 17p.] and the article tittle was "I Like My Body; Therefore, I Like Myself". The two primary authors of this article are Elena Gatti and Chiara Ionio. This specific article was published in 2009.

Topic: Body Image- Word summary
In this article they explained the results of a study they previously had done which demonstrated how body image affects our self-esteem. According to them this is especially true for teenagers.   In their study they found out how kids that work out tend to have a higher self-esteem than those who don’t.  This is important to take into consideration because a lot of the time, how well we do in certain things depend on how comfortable we are aka our self-esteem, especially for us college students.  This research, stressing the influence of various individual factors and highlighting the psychological distress and dissatisfaction of adolescents, we are able to see the importance of studying this topic and finding out some possible solutions. As the study shows, working out can definitely help with this problem which is why the University of Kentucky provides us with a facility to do so, the JC.

Topic: Body image- Reflection/questions

This article will be useful in further research because I will be able to relate the importance of taking advantage of the JC with this study. Some questions that I came up with are: What would happen if every student actually took some time out of their day to go to the JC? Why do students who work out have a higher self-esteem? Is this the case for everyone?
